PATH is seeking a Finance and Accounting assistant, based in Kinshasa.
Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks:
Assist Staff Accountants to provide Finance and Accounting services (50% time allocation) as follows:
Help with FOFR month end process, this will include Quick Book use,
Assist with bookkeeping/financial records tasks including verification of invoices, preparation of vouchers and checks for signature, data entry of records into the Quick Books accounting software.
Assist with payment reimbursements
Act as a paying agent for PATH for WARs and other types of field disbursements.
Assist with bank payments for Omni On-line banking and regular paper payments, Assist with reviewing vendor invoices and tracking travel/workshop advances and their liquidation upon submitting travel expense report/workshop expenses by staff.
Assist with the photocopy of vouchers and bills, and comparing /verifying reports with original vouchers.
Provide services to the Mobile Money-M-Pesa Operational Unit (50% time allocation) as follows:
Provide administrative support to the Mobile Money/M-Pesa Coordinator
Prepare Grant provided lists of staff at Project supported health centers that includes inputting lists into a mobile money format for review by the MM/M-Pesa Coordinator
Prepare M-Pesa Reports for review by MM/M-Pesa Coordinator
Do telephone confirmation of telephone numbers of staff on health site lists provided by the Grants Team
Review complaints to establish the issue to resolve
Visit sites to with Grants teams to obtain payment lists with signatures of beneficiaries
Learn and understand the Mobile Money/M-Pesa system
Interact with Vodacash/Vodacom as requested by the MM/M-Pesa Coordinator.
Degree in business/accounting/finance/commerce,
Experience in finance/accounting unit,
Fluent in English
